As a Windsor & Essex County resident, Dan takes pride in everything that he’s been able to accomplish in his community. Whether he’s working with new real estate clients or serving on the boards of multiple community organizations like the Community Living Essex County and Amherstburg Chamber of Commerce board, he’s never shy when it comes to spreading his hometown pride.

Dan got his start as a real estate agent in 2009. He briefly worked as a solo agent before his career took off, but he quickly realized that he could better serve his clients by forming a team. The Dan Gemus Real Estate Team was founded in 2013, and the company’s values have stayed consistent through the years: customer satisfaction, and industry integrity.

The team has won many accolades since 2013, including Best Real Estate Brokerage- Southwestern Ontario in Build Magazine’s 2020 Real Estate & Property Awards. They have also been recognized as one of Real Estate Professional Magazine’s Top Teams in Canada every year since 2016 and received the ‘Growth and Expansion’ award from the Amherstburg Chamber of Commerce in 2014.

Individually, Dan was honoured to have been awarded “Professional of the Year” by the Windsor-Essex Regional Chamber of Commerce in 2018.

In addition to his work with the Dan Gemus Real Estate Team, Dan is an expert real estate investor who owns and manages multiple properties, including several well-known businesses within Essex County.

When he’s not meeting with clients or running home tours, you can find Dan behind the microphone at AM800 CKLW, where he hosts The Dan Gemus Real Estate Show every Saturday and Sunday from noon-1pm. He’s been happily married to his wife Niki since 2009, and together they run a busy household with three young children, as well as their newest passion project and venture launched in 2022 – The Richmond Popcorn Co.
